Kedron Taylor

Biography

Kedron Taylor first came to the attention of the Australian public as a teenage country music singer from Mackay in north Queensland, who was thrust onto the big screen as a young character named ‘BUCK TAYLOR’ in the popular SLIM DUSTY MOVIE back in 1984.
After the movie he went on to tour extensively with the Slim Dusty show and was privileged to be one of the few acts to record on Slim’s ‘NULLA RECORDS’ label, producing a fine recording titled ‘THE ROAD TO BUNBERAI’. That first album received 2 Golden Guitar nominations for him.

Kedron had a break from the entertainment industry while a family came along and returned to full time music in 1994.

His second album ‘Every Place I Go’ became an instant hit with the first single release which was a novelty song called ‘THE OLD HOLDEN WALTZ’. The album itself received a further 3 Golden Guitar Nominations and an ARIA nomination for Best Country Album. The second single release ‘THE INNER CITY SUBURBS 4WD ASSOCIATION’ was also widely received.

Kedron and his family moved to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland in 2005 where Kedron mixes his time between running a building business and performing.
